Head of School

Seeking an experienced leader for Head of School position in an innovative new Montessori charter school in Oakland, California.

Urban Montessori opened August 2012 with 200 children to become Oakland's first and only public Montessori school. Our school is also an arts-integrated Design Thinking school that will grow to a K-8 school at capacity. We are seeking trained Montessori teachers who have at least two years of successful teaching experience in a Montessori classroom and has successfully taught diverse populations in an urban setting.

The ideal candidate would have experience in leadership positions in schools serving an urban community. Salary is commensurate with experience.
