Interested in an overseas experience in cosmopolitan, ever changing and culturally rich Beijing? Daystar Academy is a private non-profit, bilingual, co-educational, kindergarten and elementary day school with a diverse student body from local Chinese, returning Chinese and foreign families. The school was founded 10 years ago with a handful of students and one teacher in a house, but today has 210 students and more than 60 foreign and local staff in a beautiful purpose-built campus adorned with fruit trees and an organic garden.

We emphasize development of children’s nobility of character, academic excellence, and parallel development in both English and Chinese. We provide half day Montessori education and half day traditional Chinese curriculum in the elementary, and Montessori in both English and Chinese in Casa. We currently have four lower elementary Montessori classes and will have four Casa classes in September.

We are currently recruiting a Montessori Elementary teacher and a Casa teacher. Positions start August 2013. We offer competitive conditions for our international staff.
