AMI Trained Elementary Guide
The Portland Montessori School, celebrating 50 years of serving families and children with Montessori education, is seeking an AMI-trained Elementary Guide to start in August 2013.
We offer competitive salaries, generous health benefits, and professional development support. Our School is expanding, and the successful candidate will be starting a second elementary classroom with 10-15 first year students. Prior experience and M.Ed. are highly preferred. Our school features 6 primary classrooms, one current elementary classroom of first through fourth year students, and a robust enrichment program. Our non-profit school has a supportive administration and Board of Directors, and operates with a current enrollment of 162 students. We have a well-designed outdoor environment and a long-term lease with room to grow. We will be applying for AMI recognition in the 2013-14 academic year.
