David Wu, CPA

David S. Wu, CPA was the Strategic Finance Officer who merged a Grade 1-8 AMI with a Grade 9-12 AMS accredited school in Hayward, California that is now a 600+ student TwinOaks Public Montessori Charter School.  He completed the AMI Montessori School Administrators Certificate Course taught by Whole School Leadership in Houston, Texas.  Applying Montessori methods when he became the head coach of the Montessori high school soccer team, he listened to his players who did not have a winning season for 10 years and wanted to be champions.  With teamwork and discipline, his team became divisional champions with many players selected as all-stars.  

David launched Foundation for Innovators with Integrity (aka FiWi) to balance innovations and integrity with dignity as a human right.  He is passionate about his role in the AMI Global School Accreditation work group.  In his prior life, he was among the highest-ranking Asian Americans in Fortune 500 companies like Boeing and Honeywell.  He was also Finance Professor and Entrepreneurship Lecturer in universities.  A proud graduate from DC Public Schools, David is a CPA who holds Princeton BSE and Penn MSE degrees, plus a Wharton MBA.  He lives with his wife Elly in Metropolitan DC.
