Dr. Lindsey Pollock

Dr. Lindsey Pollock, LCSW-S, is a visionary educational executive and systemic advocate who operates at the intersection of leadership, social justice, and institutional transformation. Throughout her distinguished career, she has dedicated herself to dismantling barriers and cultivating purposeful, equitable learning environments across traditional and Montessori spectrums. Anchored in servant leadership, Dr. Pollock fuses clinical social work with advanced educational management to uplift historically marginalized communities and drive systemic change.
Currently serving as the Provost and Professor at Sarasota University, Dr. Pollock leads the innovation, development, and strategic implementation of pioneering Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral programs. As an executive leader, she champions equity-focused curricula and integrates strengths-based, trauma-informed strategies into higher education administration. Her commitment to community advocacy is further realized in her volunteer role as the Executive Director of the Lian Dante Foundation, in memory of one of her former Montessori students. There, she spearheads impactful community outreach, ABAR (Anti-Bias, Anti-Racist) initiatives, and comprehensive equity support for LGBTQIA individuals and families.
Dr. Pollock's legacy of impactful leadership is highlighted by her more than a decade-long tenure as the turnaround Principal of Garden Oaks Montessori (Houston ISD). In this role, she successfully scaled enrollment by over 115% and managed millions of dollars in grant and bond funding to build a model public Montessori program centered on community equity. A dedicated mentor to the next generation of changemakers, she also serves as a Field Supervisor guiding BSW and MSW interns across multiple universities to build collaborative, anti-bias spaces.
Her extensive governance footprint and global advocacy include foundational board roles with Montessori for Social Justice, Public Montessori Educators of America, Public Montessori Educators of Texas, Texas Education and Advocacy for Montessori and the Texas Council of Women School Executives. Dr. Pollock's leadership extends to international platforms, having served on global committees such as the World Health Organization’s summit on international ADHD standards, and presenting at major summits across North America and Europe.
Co-author of Setting the Stage for Learning (2025), Dr. Pollock holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) and an MEd in Educational Leadership from Lamar University, a Master of Social Work from the University of Houston, and a Master of Montessori Integrative Learning from Endicott University. Whether advising regional education advocacy teams or leading local civic organizations, Dr. Pollock remains a steadfast champion for intersectional equity and institutional excellence.
