Montessori Program Evaluation
Helping Montessori schools achieve excellence and stability.
Montessori Program Evaluation plays an important role in helping Montessori schools achieve excellence and stability by delivering targeted support for maintaining high-quality educational practices and thereby enhancing teacher retention rates. Our program offers access to a diverse pool of Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) certified consultants, each bringing specialized expertise in areas such as curriculum development, classroom management, and educational enrichment.
We understand that each school community has unique needs; therefore, we provide tailored workshops for both individuals and groups. These workshops can cover a wide range of topics, including effective Montessori methods, classroom environment optimization, and strategies for fostering student engagement.
By partnering with us, your school can develop a robust Montessori program that not only supports the professional growth of your educators but also enriches the learning experiences of your students.
Customized packages are available, contact AMI/USA to discuss how we can create a package that suits the needs of your school.
-
Onsite visit consisting of a morning observation and meeting in the afternoon
Follow-up 1-hour remote meetings, if wanted
The process is divided into three phases:
Before the onsite visit—the Application for Program Evaluation (below) and required fees must be submitted. Then a confirmation letter will be provided for your signature. Once the onsite visit is confirmed, communication begins between the school and the consultant for planning the details of the visit.
In-person, onsite visit – a morning observation and 2-hour meeting in the afternoon. The consultant’s summary report is sent to the teacher after the onsite visit.
Follow-up remote meetings (optional) – one-hour zoom sessions at requested frequency.
-
You may want to have the consultant share their experience and knowledge by scheduling a Level/Group Workshop for Teachers. All workshops carry a separate fee, so it is important that there is clarity when making these arrangements. Workshops must be arranged and confirmed in advance. Please indicate your interest in scheduling a Level/Group Workshop for Teachers on the application form below. In-person workshops may require a minimum of two night’s lodging.

Scheduling Procedures
-
It is important to complete the Montessori Program Evaluation form with accurate and current information. Once the required forms and payment are submitted, the internal scheduling process will begin.
-
Preliminary agreement of meeting and any workshop dates will be followed by written confirmation, which includes the consultant’s profile and contact information. The confirmation letter must be signed and submitted as soon as possible to agree to fees and confirm the meeting and any workshops. The arrangement is then confirmed in writing with the consultant. It is very important to be aware that confirmation is a firm commitment. Any changes after dates are confirmed may result in increased charges.
-
Because the consultant is traveling to your city and is usually unfamiliar with the location, it is important to make this transition an easy one so that they may relax and concentrate. Attention to details such as transportation to and from the airport, and comfortable, quiet lodging, including a restaurant with availability of breakfast and internet access, must be considered when planning the consultation.
In all instances, hotel accommodations are required. Hotel arrangements should be made and paid for in advance of the meeting or special event date. Airfare, ground transportation, meals and any other related expenses, such as parking fees or a Saturday night hotel stay if required due to schedule are the responsibility of the school. Make sure to be aware of any special dietary requests.
