MNW | Foundations of Justice: Anti-Bias & Inclusion in the Elementary Classroom

Elementary learners bring adolescent topics, complex language, and big social questions into the classroom, and many guides feel unprepared to respond. This elementary-focused Foundations of Justice workshop is designed for educators in the second plane of development who may already know the "four goals" and core theory, and are now asking: "How do I make this come alive with fidelity in my classroom?"

Together, we will explore grace and courtesy and the Foundations of Justice through an ABAR lens, including how we talk about power, gender norms, and issues like guns and superheroes, so that our responses do more than "shut things down." Educators will receive practical strategies for storytelling, conflict resolution, and building inclusive classroom routines that help Generation Alpha elementary children name, notice, and care about fairness.

This day works well as a standalone elementary introduction or as a deeper-dive refresher for those who have engaged in anti-bias training before and are ready for more targeted, justice-centered classroom practice.
